UPDATE 30 APRIL 2009 – No. 1
• Work started on the restoration of the Monument on 27April 2009.
• The Contractors are Lambert & Walker Conservation & Restoration Ltd.
• Over the next two weeks they will be reforming the track leading up to the Hoad from the top of Chittery Lane to allow for the safe transportation of materials.
• It is expected that external scaffolding will be erected within the next few weeks.
• Further regular reports will follow in due course.
