Ulverston Town Mayor   

      The Town Mayor is elected every May, and serves as  Chairman of the town council and undertakes all Civic duties for the council.  The Town Mayor is supported by the Deputy Mayor.

                 The Deputy Mayor for 2017/2018 is Cllr  David Webster 

The Town Mayor is always delighted to be invited to events to represent the town and to support charitable and fund raising events connected with Ulverston.  The Mayor and deputy will do their best to support all local activites.

The Mayor has a charity fund and throughout the year will raise funds which will be distributed to local groups during the Annual Town Meeting which is held in April.

  • What will the Mayor be asked to do i.e. Make a speech, cut a ribbon etc
