Various meetings have taken place in Ulverston with representatives from Cumbria County Council regarding the possibility of introducing a Community Travel Plan for the Town. CTPs offer an opportunity through public meetings for residents to identify priorities for improvement in their area and provide valuable feedback to officers on local issues. 3 public meetings will be held as follows :
Thursday 6 November at 7 p.m. - Glaxo Sports & Social Club,
Tuesday 18 November at 7 p.m. - Methodist Church Rooms
Thursday 5 December at 7 p.m. - Coronation Hall, Supper Room
The aim is to arrive at a defined priority list with costed schemes which will then form the basic of a CTP for the area.
