Glaxo Allotments - Morecambe Road
An agreement has been reached with Glaxo for Ulverston Town Council to take over responsibility of the Glaxo allotments off Morecambe Road. This follows an operational review by Glaxo of their land and assets and it was felt that ownership should be transferred to the local authority with statutory responsibility for the management of allotments. It is expected that a formal handover will take place in the near future.
